What I’m eyeing
This to-die-for chambray dress. I should really stop eyeing it and just hit “buy now” because I can already think of five September and October events it would be ideal for.
This navy jacket. Do I *need* another navy jacket? No. But does this one look absolutely perfect? 100% yes.
These suede ankle boots. I have a similar pair I’ve worn to the ground dating all the way back to our safari honeymoon and these look like the perfect replacement.
Does anyone have a trench coat they absolutely love? I’m this close to making this my next “I tried xyz so you don’t have to” (see blue jeans, white jeans, and swim here). This, this, and this are all styles I’m tempted to try.
In a similar vein, does anyone have a mattress they’re obsessed with? We’ve had ours for 12ish years now and I feel like it’s time.
What I’m buying
I’ve had these pants in navy for a while now and when I saw they launched the cropped version in ivory, I added to cart and checked out immediately. The cropped version hits me full-length at 5’1” and I’m grateful not to need them hemmed. This style is endlessly versatile — I love the way they look with my favorite $20 t-shirts, my go-to button-down, or a more fitted cashmere sweater. Immediate wardrobe staple for me — I would recommend the cropped version if you’re 5’4” or below and the full length if you’re 5’5” or above. Code MACKENZIEH10 should give you 10% off your first order.
Just ordered new jackets for Teddy and Peter and made sure one of their old ones is the right size for Tucker. If you only buy one fall jacket for your son(s) this season, this is the one.
It’s back to school and apparently we’re all trying to tame our kids’ hair in time for drop-off. I don’t like the stiffness (or slickness?) of a hair gel so I swear by this spray for taming our boys’ hair every morning. It smells like their baby shampoo which I also swear by well past the baby phase — the most transportive, heavenly scent.
What I’m trying
It’s extremely unlike me to plan this far in advance, but I happen to know what I’m wearing thanks to this dress that arrived from Cartolina last week. The balloon sleeves, the knot waist, the brown and ivory stripe — done deal.
This laundry brand has been such a luxe little upgrade to a dreaded (and truly never-ending) chore in our house. I love pretty much every scent I’ve tried, but I’d recommend starting with Himalayan cashmere or Egyptian rose.
You know how we feel about Floafers in our household (the only shoe the boys are wearing April through October) but I just discovered their dressier counterpart and cannot even tell you how adorable they are in person. I wish I’d known about them for my brother’s wedding last September! The vibe is very Stubbs & Wootton but $55 and I’m obsessed.
This hairspray is my new favorite — I didn’t realize how mediocre my previous one was until I tried this. (Also it smells amazing which is always a bonus.) If you’ve been on the postpartum hair loss / baby hair regrowth train like I have the past several years, this is your new BFF.
You know those pieces that act like a tried-and-true fallback when nothing else in your closet is clicking? This dress is one of those for me. I wore it into the city last week for a belated anniversary lunch with Will and it just fits exactly right every time. There’s something to be said for those purchases that don’t necessarily jump off the page but just get the job done when nothing else is. Highly recommend.
You can see what else is on my current wishlist here! Thanks for reading (and thank you in advance for any trench coat and mattress recs — I’ll be taking notes!).

We love our Saatva mattress!
Helix mattress all the way. I am 8 months pregnant with zero hip pain and I am convinced our mattress is the reason. My husband has also raved about it.
My parents bought one as well and have had zero complaints
